Choosing the right wheel loader is not about buying the biggest machine — it is about matching the machine to your actual work. Before you order, check these five points:
Match the load to the material you handle. Compact loaders around 1.2–1.8 tons suit farms, greenhouses and warehouses; mid-size 2-ton units fit general construction; heavy-duty 3-ton-and-up machines are for quarrying and earthmoving.
A 1.0 m³ bucket is the standard for small-to-mid loaders. Larger buckets mean more volume per cycle, but only if your engine and hydraulics can handle it without slowing down.
If you load trucks or mix feed bins, check the dump height — a machine that cannot reach the truck bed will slow your whole operation.
Smaller jobs run well on 36.8 kW engines; heavier work needs 76 kW or above. Also consider fuel consumption and easy access to spare parts.
- Tires & Ground Conditions
Pneumatic industrial tires are standard; for muddy or rough sites, ask about deeper tread or solid tires.
